Collection: Annemeike Broenink

Dutch designer Annemieke Broenink has a passion for developing new applications for basic materials that were originally intended for more mundane purposes—in particular, rubber. Educated as a fashion designer, Broenink worked for many years in design and sales in Amsterdam’s fashion industry. Starting in 2004, she began to design a collection of necklaces out of her own studio that are a combination of art, craft and fashion. Her collection of playful latex rubber necklaces and capelets is inspired by 17th-century traditional lace neckpieces.
