This beautiful scarf features the abstracted artwork of Toronto Skyline. Original print by Anu Raina, designed in Toronto and handcrafted in Peru. It is 28”X80" oblong and made with 70% Baby Alpaca and 30% Silk. Scarf has fringes. Dry clean only.
Anu Raina has quickly made a mark in Toronto’s art and fashion circles. After studying at the University of the Arts London – London College of Fashion, she completed the Textile program at Sheridan College in 2010, graduating with multiple awards and the Governor’s Medal. That same year, she became an Artist-in-Residence at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre and debuted her clothing and accessories collection at Toronto Fashion Week.
Her work has been showcased at Toronto Pearson Airport, the Textile Museum of Canada, and international exhibits in New York and London. She’s collaborated with eBay Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario, Keilhauer, and The Law Society of Upper Canada. Media features include The Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, National Post, CBC Radio, and CTV.
Raina was nominated for the 2012 Ontario Premier’s Award and the 2022 YWCA Hamilton Woman of Distinction Award in Art, Culture & Design. She lives in Oakville, Ontario with her husband and two children.
